Here's a completed tertiary housing. All the pieces connect well. The mirror mount works very well. The focuser works in the housing.

The filter cartridges still need some tweaking. Using a screw for a friction fit doesn't work since the cartridge just pops out from the pressure. However, using the screw in a hole in the side of the cartridge works just fine.

There are probably three dozen little adjustments to make but the parts in the photo are fully functional.

The custom focus wheel--aside from being half the weight of the stock GSO wheel--glows in the dark. TPU is being evaluated as a softer option to other 3d printed materials. I haven't molded one from silicone, but my guess is this will be lighter.

Knurls, bumps, and flat surface are being evaluated. Different wall thicknesses, different infill patterns and percentages.

Dark blue glow is slower to charge and lasts a few hours at a low glow. Red charges instantaneously but lasts a few minutes. Both are valuable in certain situations, so the final ring will combine both. So far filling shallow channels with acrylic paint using syringes is working well.
